This portrait features Nawal Arafat and Rachel Hagigi, committed Palestinian and Israeli justice activists in Jaffa (Yaffa in Arabic). Through this piece, I confront the deep pain of war, expressing a sense of emptiness and shattered hopes. I aim to challenge divisive narratives while elevating these activists as symbols of our shared humanity.
