I’m a portrait artist committed to exploring new and expressive ways of storytelling. Working across paper collage and figurative painting, I use both mediums to engage with pressing social justice issues, while celebrating the strength and agency of my sitters and embracing the powerful perspective of the female gaze.
My work aims to spark meaningful conversations about representation and diversity in art, always with an emphasis on inclusivity. Guided by intuition, I build up layers of vibrant colour and thick oil paint on expansive canvases, allowing the creative process to shape the visual language.
Through the narration of personal stories, I aim to forge emotional connections and create work that empowers individuals and resonates on both a visual and emotional level.
My work lives at the intersection of intuition, identity, and storytelling. Through thick oil paint and fragments of found imagery, I explore strength, individuality, and the female gaze. Portraits become a space to honour presence, power, and connection.
